I
was walking down Broadway -- a small group of friends in
tow – when just as I crossed West 22nd Street
I heard a voice shout out, “Hey, beautiful, is that an

With a chuckle I turned and saw four or five guys,
all in their late-20s, sitting in their compact car (no

descend upon Manhattan from New Jersey, Connecticut and
the other New York boroughs each weekend) smiling as they
waited for the light to change.

Letters
To The Editor:
Although I have always admired your sense of
confidence, for me, standing 6'2'', without heels, I am
still reluctant to go beyond the borders of the TG safe
haven. However, for the first time ever, I was courageous
enough to venture out in a more androgynous fashion.
I greatly appreciate your words of guidance, they helped me
tremendously and I do very much respect your opinion. Thanks again for being so responsive, have a great weekend.
